This innovative series is comprised on acrylic painting on the verso of
contoured acrylic sheets. It is a mixture of painting and sculpture. These pieces
are about bold color, graphic patterns, layers of paint, and interaction between
the overall form of the sheet and the painted elements. Each work is an
experiment resulting in a totally unique work of art.
The Hybrid Series is a
mix of elements from both the Edge and Ambient Series with added metal
structures, dark line-work and graphic elements. Most pieces in this series are
multiple panel installations.
